My love for mountain biking grew out of my family's background in motocross racing, which I pursued from ages 6 to 14. As school started to get more in the way of weekend state races, we decided MTB was equally fun, less expensive, and a little less work. Since then, we've built backyard trails and ridden in places like Moab, Northwest Arkansas, Whistler, and the Rocky Mountains.
